The Breast Cancer Social Media (#BCSM) Community* is a volunteer organization, dedicated to empowering those affected by breast cancer through programs that provide evidence-based information in a supportive and compassionate manner.
#BCSM began in 2011 as a conversation on twitter, and has grown into so much more. It’s a world of support, guidance, and information. We are a diverse group, composed of patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and more, all dedicated to empowering those affected by breast cancer.
A cancer diagnosis can be scary and difficult—not only for the patient, but for family and friends as well. At the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Cancer Center, our goal is to make your experience as easy as possible by providing comprehensive, compassionate, state-of-the-art care in one convenient setting.
The American Society of Breast Surgeons, the primary leadership organization for general surgeons who treat patients with breast disease, is committed to continually improving the practice of breast surgery by serving as an advocate for surgeons who seek excellence in the care of breast patients. This mission is accomplished by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and by promoting education, research, and the development of advanced surgical techniques.
Safely Ever After, Inc. is committed to keeping our kids safe, with empowering and effective programs that work.
Founder Pattie Fitzgerald blends her expertise as a certified prevention educator, speaker, author, and most importantly as a MOM to instruct families everywhere on her effective “safe-smarts” strategies for keeping kids safe.
Dr. Susan Downey offers patients a superior experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with the ultimate goal of restoring body form and function.
The goal of our practice is to help patients achieve their goals in restoring their bodies to the best possible form and function as achievable through plastic surgery. When patients come into the office our first job is to obtain and provide information. There is no one approach to any problem in plastic surgery and each patient presents their own unique set of problems and concerns. Each patient’s situation is addressed and a plan for each patient is individually devised. Whenever possible written information is provided to help the patient prepare for the surgery as well as to plan for the postoperative period.
